St Oswalds RC Primary School
We have very close ties to our local primary school which is located just 5 minutes walk away. Deacon Paul Blinston is a school Governor and spends regular time in school assisting with the religious and pastoral development of the children. Pupils in Year 4 can apply for the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist, the preparation for which takes place in the Canons Hall at church with a team of parish catechists lead by Angela Corcoran and Pat Carter. First Holy Communion services take place in June each year.

St Edmund Arrowsmith RC High School
