amy penningtonMy name is Amy Pennington & I am the Children’s Liturgy Co-ordinator at St. Oswald’s church.

I believe we should get the next generation interested in church & the Catholic faith.

I believe we should get the next generation interested in church & the Catholic faith – it is for that reason that I volunteer each week to teach and inspire children of all ages!
My liturgies take place in the Canons Hall and last around twenty minutes during the 10:30 am mass each Sunday. I simplify gospechildrens liturgy2l readings for the children before giving them resources (made by me!) To complete – these include colouring sheets, puzzles, games etc. I also have a board to display the childrens’ work which goes up with the offertory after the liturgy. At Christmas & Easter, I organise small performances during Mass so the whole congregation can enjoy the children singing carols or reading poems!

Children of all ages (and adults too!) are welcome at my liturgies!
